Chapter Thonglor 25
Developed in 2019 and completed in 2021, Chapter Thonglor 25 “Minimal Luxury Condominium” features two low rise condominium buildings located in Thonglor 25 alley.
Appointed by Pruksa Real Estate Public Company Limited as a landscape design consultant, Landscape Tectonix intensively researched on the physical attributes, site constraints, target customer profiles, regulations and relevant design input from other design consultants then came up with the design concept “Juxtaposition” between two different things that can be placed nicely together with a little contrast creating the strong visual impact as well as the flexibility in functionality.
At the drop-off, white canopy walk is proposed in order to organize the connectivity between tower A and tower B to the common areas, to define the transition between public and private areas within limited space and to create the special feature at the arrival.
The internal courtyard features the L-shape white marble swimming pool and the garden settings, as the pleasant view for the residential units surrounded. Raised-up pool, as a Jacuzzi with water spout, is proposed to be a landscape feature creating sense of auditory among the greenery.
The pool terrace, as part of the building’s void, directly overlooks to the pool view with various levels creating both social and private spaces as well as serving for pool function and meeting place concurrently.
A tree house, intentionally raised up from the ground to maximize the green area, is a place with flexible uses taking the best view of both garden and pool.
The pattern garden features a series of small modular planters with various textures, forms and colors of plant creating a sense of intimacy in front of Tower B. Loosely laid pebble, timber seat and a cluster of cork trees are well composed to create a human-scale space.
With the deep understanding in design approaches and close collaboration during the design process, landscape design at Chapter Thonglor 25 therefore creates the strong collaborative design with Architecture and Interior design creating the seamless integration in design and defining the new boundary of living environment in urban context.
